Communications:
The Communications Officer is responsible for the company’s communication with different target audiences, including clients, journalists, funders, suppliers and the community. They advise other employees and managers on communication tasks, and use written and verbal skills to create a wide range of communication material. By communicating effectively with their target audience, they help to build a positive reputation for the company. The communications officer manages the day to day Social Media posts and Manages our website.
Monitoring:
Monitoring and Communications (Both Internal and External) is a very important element within the function of County Kildare LEADER Partnership, as we report to our funders on the work, we carry out with clients through a range of dedicated management systems. These systems include:
- Social Inclusion and Communication Activation Programme – IRIS
- Tús Programme – One View
- LEADER Programme – Microsoft Forefront
- CE Schemes – Department of Employment & Social Protection (Welfare Partners)
- Distance Travelled Tool
These systems provide County Kildare LEADER Partnership employees with powerful reporting tools to monitor and evaluate our work both in terms of quality of support given by each programme, as well as in terms of profile of our client group.
We believe having these programmes and keeping them completely up to date, following all GDPR Guidelines, will serve us in being able to offer tailored supports, to communities and individuals, and having the desired impact on the individual and communities that we serve. The programmes along with on the ground experience have give the project workers increased confidence and knowledge in relation to performance indicators and progressing the work with the most marginalised individuals and groups in our communities.
