HEADSUP are delighted to offer our full programme in Newbridge and surrounding areas September 2021.
**Compliance with all public health advice in delivery of our programme is our priority in order to ensure the safety of participants and staff.
Please note therefore parts of the programme will be run online, however technology can be supplied to participants if needed and indeed training given to those who may need it.
Covid-19 has had a significant impact on how we work with men and how we deliver our programmes but our core elements remain in terms of mental health awareness, building resilience, personal development, being active and social connection.
Niamh, the former programme coordinator has moved to pastures fresh and we are delighted to announce the appointment of our new coordinator – Deirdre Bigley.
Deirdre has been a member of the staff team since 2018 and therefore brings not only her considerable knowledge of the programme but has spent all of her professional life passionately pursuing social change, supporting people struggling with mental health difficulties to develop a different life, set new goals, identify healthier ways of understanding as well as managing thoughts and feelings and foster a more caring and respectful way of relating to themselves and their mental health.
Deirdre can be contacted by email: deirdre@countykildarelp.ie or mobile 085 1068305.
We are now welcoming referrals for our full programme in Newbridge in September.
