Youth Employment Services Support Worker, Laura Kelly’s group recently completed their Digital Readiness Training Programme with Youth Workers across Kildare. The purpose of the programme was to train Youth Workers and provide them with the skills to introduce and up skill young people in the use of STEAM processes. Laura applied to the LEADER Programme for support for the project. A great example of how LEADER funding can support Youth Programmes in Co. Kildare.
Laura is being supported by the SICAP Programme, to support the newly trained leaders to implement the training into their work with young people. Camara Education Ireland were the training partner.
