Suncroft Young at Heart

This period of isolation and cocooning has been challenging for all of us. Many people of cocooning age are fitter and more active than any of us. So staying in has been quite a challenge. We see how Suncroft Young at Hearts are keeping connected and ensuring that they keep the great energy of the group going.

 The Young at Hearts group in Suncroft are a local active retirement group with over 30 members. The group usually meet every Wednesday for a cup of tea, a laugh, exercise and there’s always some sort of project that they are working on and planning where they will go off gallivanting to for their next trip. You can always hear the laughs and messing from the car park from when you arrive.

While some people may be taking this time to unwind and relax,  Suncroft Young at Hearts are still working away on different projects as you can see from the photos. The group are staying connected and keeping spirits up through their Whatsapp group. They are looking in on one another, collecting shopping and medication.

While the group may no longer be meeting up their energy, positivity and creativity continues on as normal.
