Intercultural Worker (Arabic/ English speaking)
County Kildare LEADER Partnership (CKLP) is the Local Development Company for County Kildare and is funded by Kildare Local Development Committee and Kildare County Council to support individuals and families who are New Arrivals (Seeking Temporary Protection and Asylum) and Programme Refugees.
To support this work, we are seeking to recruit Integration Outreach Support Workers and an Intercultural Worker who will assist individuals and families to settle and play an active role in their new communities in County Kildare.
The successful candidates will preferably have a third level or professional qualification in Community Development, Development Education, or a Social Science discipline. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have experience of working with individuals and groups in an intercultural setting, be a self-starter and have a clean driving licence and their own transport.
A fixed term contract will be offered, and a panel may be formed from which future positions may be filled.
